Drafting Services

Our drafting services work on either new construction, design system, or we can finish the project drawing after the job is done, redline completion.

Mid-America Services offers electrical design and 2D electrical drafting services in a cost-effective manner. Our electrical designers ensure delivery of electrical control system design, one-line power schemes and electrical conduit design services for Industrial and commercial facilities.

We also efficiently cater to electrical site plan design services and low voltage system design services related to SCADA monitoring systems, PLC control systems and site cabling systems.

Industrial Consulting

With over twenty years of construction experience, we at Mid-America Services have see many methods and processes. When the opportunity comes for us to recommend a solution to our customers. We analyze all of the relevant factors. We take great pride in the recommendations we provide to you. After all, our reputation is at stake.

We work closely with your engineering group or managers to determine all of the considering factors of your project. Mcphost will work with you after the initial design to correct any errors or last minute changes.

Besides consulting, we will assemble job books that outline the total project along with drawings/prints. The job book, in many cases, also serves as a scope for contractors to bid from.

Fiber Optic Communication

Fiber optic cables are all around us. With fiber connecting every aspect of our world, there is greater chance of our world being disrupted. Cell phone, land line phones, cable TV systems, and internet systems are all obvious systems that make our world today.

Our repair vehicles consist of utility trucks, fiber repair trailers, and bucket trucks. All of our vehicles show up loaded with the tools necessary to repair any fiber optic system.

Fusion Services - Typical uses for the fusion machine are splicing fiber to create long backbone type fiber optic installations, fusing factory ends on installed fiber, and disaster service repairs where repairs are implemented on any fiber.

The fusion method is a low loss type connection or splice. When you compare this method to the face to face fiber connection method, you will see that the fusion method has significantly less reflectance losses. As far as durability, the factory ends that we fuse onto the fiber are durable and solid.

COLLABORATION

Communication is key! That's why our designers use SharePoint from Microsoft to store their drawings. We also use ZOHO to manage all project coloration items such as tasks, schedules, notes, issue tracking and overall progress for each project, as well as companywide progress tracking.

Using ZOHO allows our customers to see real time progress on the project. Some examples of this would be:

- Gantt Chart for project timeline.

- Living documents.

- Version Control on documents.

- Drawing archives
